Customer Cash Back on 2009 Nissan Versa

Friday, May 8th, 2009

2009 Nissan Versa Sedan

Nestled somewhere deep within the the Yaris and Fit whirlwind, we find Nissan’s versatile Versa, powered by a 122-hp 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine. And now, as part of Nissan’s National Tent Event, you can get customer cash back on the 2009 Nissan Versa.

The Versa seats four adults can be comfortably toted around town without having to take extended stops to stretch—more important on those longer trips where you just want to get to your destination quickly. And those trips will cost a lot less if you decide to purchase a Versa: fuel economy figures are 24 mpg in the city and a whopping 32 mpg on the highway (automatic) and 26 mpg in the city and 31 on the highway (manual).

An optional CVT transmission is also available, though only on the Versa SL version. We’d probably opt for the manual because 1) the clutch and shifter on the Versa are butter-smooth and 2) the manual transmission will interject some enthusiasm into the driving experience. Our favorite part is that 3) it’s not just “any” manual, but a 6-speed manual, normally reserved for sports cars. _Shift is good.

You read that right; as much as $3,000 off the price of a brand new Focus.

With a class-competitive, 140-horsepower 2-liter 4-cylinder engine, the Focus has no trouble propelling itself and its passengers—all the while getting 24/35 mpg (city/highway). Employee Pricing Plus Plus on 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan

2009 Dodge Caravan - Side View

We’re willing to bet that you’ve driven or ridden in, a Dodge Caravan. Likewise, we’re also willing to bet that you’d love to save thousands with Dodge’s Employee Pricing Plus Plus sales initiatve (click here to see your price).. As you may know (if you’re a minivan historian), the Caravan was the pioneering minivan, the one responsible for the whole Suzy Soccer Mom phenomenon. That was 1984. Since then, Dodge hasn’t stopped. They’ve continued to evolve the Caravan brand, and for 2008, it looks like they’re going to give the Sienna, Odyssey, and Quest a run for their Capri Suns and orange wedges.

2009 Dodge Caravan - Interior

The designers’ main focus is to give passengers the most comfortable, well-appointed interior. From our early impression, they have succeeded. This is due to Dodge’s much heralded Stow’n Go seating arrangement, which allows the interior dimensions to grow without compensating the exterior dimensions. In fact, new Caravan actually weighs less than its predecessor, so acceleration and fuel economy are not compromised.

2009 Dodge Caravan - Window

Powertrain options range from a 3.3-liter 175-horsepower V6 mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission to a more robust 4.0-liter 251-horsepower V6 coupled with a first-in-class 6-speed transmission. Fuel economy only drops off by 1mpg compared to the smaller 3.3-liter while netting a whopping 76 horsepower more. So yes, you can have your cake and eat it, too.

Lower Pricing on 2009 Audi TTS

2009 Audi TTS Grille

It comes as no surprise that Audi decided to integrate the coveted S into its model nomenclature shortly after the inception of its benchmark R8. The attempt is a declaration to join the ranks of BMW’s M Coupe, the Mercedes-Benz SLK 350, Honda’s S2000 and Porsche’s venerable Boxster. To kick things off, Audi has replaced the former TT’s 3.2-liter V6 powerplant with a more refined 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged TSFI engine. The turbocharger and direct fuel injection both combine to allow the TTS to produce a healthy 265 horsepower, fifteen more than the unit on which it is based. But that number does not tell the whole story. In terms of torque, the engine produces a solid 258 pound-feet of torque, and does so between 2500 to 5000 rpm. The systematic placement of both power and torque in this wide of a powerband results in grin-inducing power delivery, allowing the driver to keep the car in each gear longer, which for lack of a better term, is flat-out fun.

2009 Audi TTS Side View

The top speed of the 3,120-pound TTS is increased to an electronically-governed 155 mph, compared to the 130 mph limit of the TT. Fuel economy is also increased from 25 to 30 mpg, allowing the TTS to compete with even the most fuel-thrifty econo-boxes. But none of those commuter cars can sprint to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds like the TTS.

The TTS is a refreshing take on a car that has lapped its former days of glory. Audi has reinvigorated the flare of the TT with its bolder incarnation. Although its nuances may only spark the interest of Audi enthusiasts, the TTS is just what Audi needs to perpetuate the indisputable performance of its R8.

2009 Pontiac G5 Low APR Financing and Big Rebates

2009 Pontiac G5

The 2009 Pontiac G5 was recently named the cleanest burning gasoline car in NADA’s (short for National Automobile Dealers Association) latest survey. Coming in a close second was its sister car, the 2009 Chevy Cobalt LS. Both cars showed incredibly low annual greenhouse gas emissions output. So why should you be concerned with this? For starters, the Pontiac G5 has a ridiculously low base price.

In addition to that, there are some amazing rebates being offered in most areas as well as low-APR financing. This is aside from the fact that the G5 is an exceptionally well-put-together car with loads of great standard features like the OnStar onboard diagnostics and emergency response system, XM satellite radio with free three-month trial period and steering-wheel-mounted audio and cruise controls.

To top it all off, every new Pontiac vehicle comes with GM’s Total Confidence package, which includes a plan that covers your monthly payments in the event that you lose your job or primary source of income for up to nine months! Now there really is no excuse not to drive green. You can view the full results of NADA’s survey here.
