2008 Pontiac G8 Customer Cash Back Deals

Thursday, November 6th, 2008

There’s nothing more satisfying than buying a car. Not just because you need it, but because you want it. At CarsDirect, we understand that very real and powerful desire. That’s why we’re blogging about the 2008 Pontiac G8. Not only is it a functional, good-looking sedan, it happens to be one of the fastest (in V8 GT trim) in its class. With a 0-60 time of 5.2 seconds, the G8 is incredibly quick. Owing its awesome acceleration to its 355-horsepower 6-liter V8 engine, the G8 GT is clearly the sportier model of the two trim levels. However, the base G8 still impresses with its 256-horsepower 3.6-liter V6, achieving 0-60 mph in 7 seconds flat. It’s also built to handle.  The G8’s suspension, developed by GM’s Holden branch in Australia, nonchalantly sheds body roll through corners while maintaining a firm, yet civil ride on the highway.

How do you aid in your justification for buying such a powerful car that’s this much fun to drive? Easy: OnStar turn-by-turn navigation, automatic crash response and vehicle diagnostics free for one whole year.  On top of GM’s amazing OnStar system being standard equipment, you get the G8’s above-average fuel economy. With the V6 model getting 17/25 mpg (city/highway) and the V8 getting not much less at 15/24 mpg (city/highway) thanks to its active fuel management system, these fast four-doors won’t have you at the pump as often as you might think.

Now, for the part you’ve been waiting for. Right now, during Pontiac’s Red Tag Event, you can save an amazing amount of money on all 2008 G8 models. You have to see the savings for yourself to believe them. Just click the link below, type in your zip code, and the prices will show up.

A litte more on the 2009 Mercury Milan:

The two available engine options are a 2.3-liter inline 4-cylinder which produces 160 horsepower and a bigger, more powerful 3.0-liter V6 which produces 221 horsepower. Fuel economy figures for the 2.3-liter equipped Milan are 20 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway, while the slightly thirstier V6 gets 18 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. 2008 Kia Optima Rebate

Thursday, October 23rd, 2008

We’re here to make it easy for you, the prospective car shopper, researcher or enthusiast. So is Kia. From now until the end of October, they are offering big cash rebates on their popular mid-size sedan, the Optima. The Optima is available in two trim levels: the plain-vanilla base LX and generously-equipped premium EX. Both models are offered with, you guessed it, two engine choices: a 161 horsepower 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine or a 185 horsepower 2.7-liter V6 engine. Fuel economy for the 2.4 checks in at a impressive 21 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway, while the V6-powered Optima gets 20 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway.

To see how big the rebates are, simply click on the link below and type in your 5-digit zip code. In most areas, the V6 models will receive a more substantial rebate.

0% APR on 2009 Ford Escape or Rebate

Thursday, October 9th, 2008

It has never been cheaper to acquire a loan on one of Ford’s newest offerings, the 28-mpg highway-rated 2009 Ford Escape.  If you act soon, you can get 0% APR for up to 36 months on the Ford Escape or cash back.  To find out exactly how much cash back you’ll be eligible to receive, click on the link at the bottom of the page and type in your zip code. It’s as simple as that.

The 2009 Ford Escape poses as an SUV, but actually happens to be a full two inches shorter than a Ford Focus sedan.  Interestingly, it boasts almost the same interior room as a Ford Explorer, while achieving excellent fuel economy (22 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway).  Add this to the fact that the Escape also comes standard with a slick-shifting 6-speed automatic transmission, and you’d be hard-pressed to find a more well-equipped SUV at this price point.  But the deal won’t last forever, so if you’re in the market for a smaller SUV and want 0% APR, the 2009 Ford Escape should definitely make your short list.
