Big Cash Back on 2009 Kia Spectra

Tuesday, September 15th, 2009

2009 Kia Spectra

To make room for the all-new 2010 Forte, Kia is offering aggressive pricing on 2009 Spectras. With up to $3,500 cash back available on all Spectra models, Kia’s deal-sweetening on a very capable compact (especially for college students) makes sound fiscal sense.

Available as a sedan or hatchback (known as the Spectra5), the Spectra’s practicality and style are undeniable. Trunk space in the sedan is plentiful at 12.2 cubic feet, while the hatchback provides an incredible 18.3 cubic feet of cargo room and even more when the rear seats are folded down.

The Spectra’s 138-horsepower 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine also lends to its practicality, as it is powerful enough to move you from point A to point B with a smile on your face and efficient enough to deliver a respectable 24/32 mpg (city/highway).

While it’s still too early to call whether or not the Spectra’s successor will be as good as it’s cracked up to be, it’s clear that the Forte will have some pretty big shoes to fill. This deal ends September 30, 2009, so hurry before all the remaining Spectras are gone.

2009 Kia Spectra Rebates or 0% APR

2009 Kia Spectra5 Hatchback

The numbers are in. It seems every manufacturer suffered a loss in sales this past March. Some companies were down as much as 70% from last year. However, a few companies like Kia made it through March without so much as a scratch. It’s not hard to see why when you look at the deals Kia is offering. For example, right now you can get a huge rebate or 0% APR financing for 60 months on all 2008 and 2009 Spectra and Spectra5 models.

The Spectra sedan, with its five-star NHTSA crash test rating, is an exceptionally nice set of wheels for the price. But the real bargain of the two would have to be the Spectra5 hatchback with its 138-horsepower 2-liter 4-cylinder engine and standard 5-speed manual transmission. While both the sedan and hatchback are rated at 23/30 mpg (city/highway), the Spectra5 comes equipped with larger 16-inch wheels, wider tires and four-wheel disc brakes that make it as sporty as it is economical. And the 18.3 cubic feet of cargo room provided by the spacious rear hatch make it practical as well.

So let’s review: Kia has a car that’s sporty, economical, practical and already very affordable that they’re offering with a huge amount of cash back as well as no-interest financing. It’s no wonder their sales figures are recession-proof. Click here to see how big of a rebate you can get on the 2009 Kia Spectra sedan and 2009 Kia Spectra5 hatchback.

Cash Back on the 2009 Kia Borrego

Tuesday, January 6th, 2009

2009 Kia Borrego, silver, front view

Kia’s first V8-powered SUV may have arrived a little too late to the sport utility market, but low demand and dealer overstock are a bargain hunter’s two best friends. The 2009 Kia Borrego happens to be an extremely competent vehicle that brings validity to the fact that it will give the competition something to really lose sleep over.

With a front end that vaguely resembles the Subaru Tribeca’s and a body that looks like practically everything else in the mid-size SUV segment, the Borrego’s styling won’t have you gasping in amazement. However, its performance will definitely take you by surprise. In V8 4-wheel drive trim, the Borrego produces a solid 337 horsepower and 323 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to tow 7,500 lbs. achieving 15/22 mpg (city/highway), the Borrego’s V8 is one of the most efficient in its class.

A fully independent rear suspension allows the Borrego to handle less like the 2.5-ton behemoth that it is and more like a mild-mannered sedan. With seating for seven, the Borrego makes for an excellent compromise between a pickup truck and a family-sized minivan.

Now’s the perfect time to take advantage of Kia’s incredibly low pricing on the 2009 Kia Borrego.  Right now, Kia is offering 0% APR financing for 36 months or huge rebates on all Borrego models. Click the links below and type in your zip code to find the lowest price in your area.

From now until the end of October, they are offering big cash rebates on their popular mid-size sedan, the Optima.
