2008 Pontiac G8 Customer Cash Back Deals

Thursday, November 6th, 2008

There’s nothing more satisfying than buying a car. Not just because you need it, but because you want it. At CarsDirect, we understand that very real and powerful desire. That’s why we’re blogging about the 2008 Pontiac G8. Not only is it a functional, good-looking sedan, it happens to be one of the fastest (in V8 GT trim) in its class. With a 0-60 time of 5.2 seconds, the G8 is incredibly quick. Owing its awesome acceleration to its 355-horsepower 6-liter V8 engine, the G8 GT is clearly the sportier model of the two trim levels. However, the base G8 still impresses with its 256-horsepower 3.6-liter V6, achieving 0-60 mph in 7 seconds flat. It’s also built to handle.  The G8’s suspension, developed by GM’s Holden branch in Australia, nonchalantly sheds body roll through corners while maintaining a firm, yet civil ride on the highway.

How do you aid in your justification for buying such a powerful car that’s this much fun to drive? Easy: OnStar turn-by-turn navigation, automatic crash response and vehicle diagnostics free for one whole year.  On top of GM’s amazing OnStar system being standard equipment, you get the G8’s above-average fuel economy. With the V6 model getting 17/25 mpg (city/highway) and the V8 getting not much less at 15/24 mpg (city/highway) thanks to its active fuel management system, these fast four-doors won’t have you at the pump as often as you might think.

Now, for the part you’ve been waiting for. Right now, during Pontiac’s Red Tag Event, you can save an amazing amount of money on all 2008 G8 models. You have to see the savings for yourself to believe them. Just click the link below, type in your zip code, and the prices will show up.

0% APR and Big Rebates on 2009 Mitsubishi Galant

Wednesday, November 5th, 2008

Mitsubishi’s commitment to motor sport has driven them to produce some exciting models over the years. One such model is the 2009 Mitsubishi Galant. Although it may seem like your typical midsize sedan, the Galant features much of the technology that has trickled down from Mitsubishi’s rally racing efforts including the MIVEC variable valve timing system, which allows for better fuel economy and more power, and the sport suspension found on the Galant Ralliart.

The Galant also showcases one of Mitsubishi’s most unique exterior designs. All of these attributes add up to a sporty and stylish character that’s unmistakable in a sea of nearly identical sedans. But being sporty and stylish isn’t the only thing this car has going for it. JD Power and Associates ranked the 2009 Mitsubishi Galant as one of the highest in initial quality in its class. Now, you can reap the rewards of Mitsubishi’s hard work and pick up a Galant with 0% APR financing for 60 months or get an unbelievable rebate. Simply click on the link and type in your zip code to see just how much money you will save. It’s that easy.

Scion’s Reliable Deals

Tuesday, November 4th, 2008

Scion has come a very long way since its debut five years ago. In that short time, they have galvanized the market by emphasizing pride of ownership in its ad campaigns, sponsored events, sales of Scion-branded merchandise and accessories. But all of these attributes don’t necessarily appeal to Joe the Plumber (couldn’t resist –Ed.). The truth of the matter is that marketing hype just doesn’t sell cars to the informed consumer. This fact will: Scion received the highest marks of any brand in Consumer Reports’ annual list of most reliable cars. With all three of its models placing in the top six in their respective categories and one, the xD, winning its class outright, buying a Scion seems to make good financial sense. Based on Consumer Reports’ tests, the Scion xD had 80% fewer problems than the average car in the study. This translates to less frequent trips to the dealership for costly repairs. Thus, money you would have normally spent on maintaining your car instead sits quietly in your pocket. Operating costs are further diminished by Scion’s incredible fuel economy. With the xD, xB and tC each getting over 20-mpg in the city and around or close to 30-mpg on the highway, Scion should definitely be on your list if you’re a fan of cheaper and less frequent fill-ups. Buying a Scion may be the trendy and hip thing to do right now, but it also happens to be one of the most practical and economical.

0.9% APR on 2009 Ford Flex

Tuesday, October 21st, 2008

Even the newest vehicles out aren’t immune to incredible financing and incentives that are currently available.  A few short months ago, Ford released the 2009 Flex, a crossover that offers a more practical solution to shoppers who want a fuel-efficient SUV that drives like a car, but who don’t want to sacrifice style and individuality.

The Flex features a solid 262-horsepower 3.5-liter V6. The best part of all is that the Flex boasts some rather impressive numbers for fuel economy. The front-wheel drive Flex achieves 17/24 mpg while the all-wheel drive models are slightly lower at 16/22 mpg. Even with all of these great features, the Flex’s real value lies in the sense of individuality that comes with owning one of these truly unique and multi-purpose vehicles. Just knowing that you took a stand against mediocrity and refused to conform to an otherwise dull and unfulfilling driving experience can make your daily commute infinitely more enjoyable.

And to make that much more enjoyable, Ford is offering 0.9% APR for up to 36 months on the 2009 Flex.  Or, if you don’t need the financing, they are offering $2500 Customer Cash back on cash purchases.  But if you’re in the market for Ford Flex, you don’t have much time.  This deal expires November 3rd, 2008.
