2009 Honda Accord Sedan

For the driver who holds refinement in the highest regard, we have the 2009 Honda Accord. Reliability, quality, and performance neatly buttoned up in a package that can transport you and your occupants safely and comfortably. And now you have the perfect opportunity to enjoy all the caveats reserved for Accord owners the world over. You can lease a 2009 Honda Accord for only $199/month for 36 months.

The 2009 Accord offers three available engine packages: a 2.4-Liter 177-hp iVTEC 4-cylinder, a 2.4-Liter 190-hp iVTEC 4-cylinder, and a 3.5-Liter 268-hp V6—the engine we would most likely opt for. The V6, while offering more power and torque, offers the newest generation of Honda’s Variable Cylinder Management (VCM for short) which allows the engine to meet the demands of both acceleration and fuel economy by deactivation one bank of cylinders when you are at a cruising speed. When maximum torque and power are required, all six cylinders fire. Awesome.

2010 Honda Insight

Nearly a decade ago, Honda introduced the world to the Insight hybrid coupe, the first in a line of next-gen fuel efficient cars. With a sleek body that boasts one of the most aerodynamic designs of all time and a combined 83 horsepower from its gasoline-electric drive train, the first generation Insight remains as a major milestone in the development of hybrid technology.

Now, with the national release of the 2010 Honda Insight only days away, we wait anxiously as new information regarding the pricing of the Insight comes trickling in. Not only is it a hybrid with cutting-edge technology like the Eco Assist fuel economy monitoring system and regenerative braking system, but the new Insight will apparently undercut the base price of Toyota’s Prius by $2,000 or more!

2010 Honda Insight Dashboard

That’s quite a savings when you consider that the Insight and the Prius offer comparable fuel economy (40 city/43 highway mpg for the Insight and 48 city/45 highway mpg for the Prius). The Insight’s 4-cylinder hybrid-electric power plant delivers a combined 111 horsepower, allowing for better acceleration over the previous generation. Low rolling resistance tires combined with the car’s ultra-low drag coefficient of 0.28 allow the Insight to cruise effortlessly along the highway.

2010 Honda Insight Seating

Seating for five, as opposed to only two in the previous generation, gives the Insight yet another level of practicality. As more details surface about the 2010 Honda Insight, we can only imagine what else Honda may have up their environmentally conscious sleeves. But much like the launch of the first Insight, you can expect whatever Honda has in store to have a tremendous impact on the modern automotive landscape.

Lease a 2009 Honda Civic for $149/month

2009 Honda Civic 4-door Sedan

So, you want something with rock-solid reliability that will cost you pennies to own and operate. You also want it to be comfortable, nimble, and fun. And now, Honda is offering a lease deal that’s simply too hard to pass up: lease a 2009 Honda Civic for $149/month with only $2699 due at signing. Or, if you don’t want to put the $2699 down, you can lease one for $229/month with only $229 due at signing. Both leases are for 36 months.2009 Honda Civic 4-door Sedan

Either way, you’re guaranteed Honda’s legendary quality. Consumer Reports recently ranked Honda as the best manufacturer in terms of reliability and quality among all auto manufacturers. For the more performance-minded consumer, the 197-hp Civic Si can be had for around $21,000. The Si is also available in an equally-powerful sedan form, as well. Take one look at the Civic, and we’re sure you’ll agree that it looks sharper than anything in its price range, with tightly-gapped body paneling and an ergonomic interior that fits the driver like a glove.

2009 Honda Civic 4-door Sedan

Honda is known for their engines; and with more than 14 million engines built each year, they are the largest engine-maker in the world. That’s not to say you’re getting some run-of-the-mill inline four with your Civic. Each version that we’ve test driven has enough torque and power to pull the Civic along admirably. Even the smallest 1.8-Liter 16-valve version found on the base DX model produces 140 horsepower. The cream of the crop 2.0-Liter iVTEC version adds one more camshaft to the mix bringing power to 197-horsepower. That 98.5 hp/liter is more than the 7.0L 505-hp Z06 ‘Vette, which only produces 72 hp/liter.
