Big Manufacturer Rebates on 2008 Buick Enclave

Wednesday, November 12th, 2008

For years, Buick has been the definition of American luxury. Their newest model, the 2008 Enclave, is a crossover that makes a strong case for itself with its spacious eight-passenger seating capacity, 275-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 and attractive design.

As a luxury vehicle, however, the Enclave presents itself as a real world contender against other premium brands with no intention of pulling any punches. The Enclave drives incredibly smooth on any surface and features one of the quietest cabins available today. Not only is the interior adorned with gracious amounts of simulated wood trim, but the subtle use of chrome also helps accentuate the Enclave’s soft-spoken, upscale feel. When it comes to fuel economy, the Enclave doesn’t disappoint. At 16-/24-mpg (city/highway), the Enclave will get you where you need to go in style and without needing to stop for constant fill-ups. But what is the cost of this kind of luxury? That’s what we’re here to tell you.

Thanks to GM’s “Red Tag Event,” the prices of all 2008 Buick Enclaves have been greatly reduced. With the newly lowered MSRPs combined with other rebates Buick is offering, you can save a significant amount on a 2008 Enclave. So test-drive one and rediscover what “luxury” really means. Scion’s Reliable Deals

Tuesday, November 4th, 2008

Scion has come a very long way since its debut five years ago. In that short time, they have galvanized the market by emphasizing pride of ownership in its ad campaigns, sponsored events, sales of Scion-branded merchandise and accessories. But all of these attributes don’t necessarily appeal to Joe the Plumber (couldn’t resist –Ed.). The truth of the matter is that marketing hype just doesn’t sell cars to the informed consumer. This fact will: Scion received the highest marks of any brand in Consumer Reports’ annual list of most reliable cars. With all three of its models placing in the top six in their respective categories and one, the xD, winning its class outright, buying a Scion seems to make good financial sense. Based on Consumer Reports’ tests, the Scion xD had 80% fewer problems than the average car in the study. This translates to less frequent trips to the dealership for costly repairs. Thus, money you would have normally spent on maintaining your car instead sits quietly in your pocket. Operating costs are further diminished by Scion’s incredible fuel economy. With the xD, xB and tC each getting over 20-mpg in the city and around or close to 30-mpg on the highway, Scion should definitely be on your list if you’re a fan of cheaper and less frequent fill-ups. Buying a Scion may be the trendy and hip thing to do right now, but it also happens to be one of the most practical and economical.

0% APR and Cash Back on 2008 Suzuki SX4

Tuesday, October 28th, 2008

We at CarsDirect believe that good things come in small packages, and the 2008 Suzuki SX4, namely the Sport version, could very well be the best example of this to date. The SX4 first caught our eye when it became the first car under $16,000 to offer standard in-car navigation. Now, the deal gets even sweeter as the SX4 was recently ranked 3rd in its class by Consumer Reports on their list of most reliable cars of 2008. On top of that, the SX4 is backed by Suzuki’s incredible 7-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty which includes their roadside assistance and courtesy vehicle programs. With 143 horsepower, the most standard horsepower in its class, and an available hatchback body style, the SX4 Sport makes for a well-equipped and extremely versatile car. As is the case with most of the vehicles we write about, there is an amazing deal going on for the 2008 SX4 Sport. Right now, qualified buyers can get 0% APR financing for up to 60 months. That’s 0% interest on a navigation-equipped, ultra-reliable, 30-mpg, fun-to-drive compact with one of the best warranties in America. Good things truly do come in small packages. But hurry, because this offer expires October 31, 2008.

0.9% APR on 2009 Ford Flex

Tuesday, October 21st, 2008

Even the newest vehicles out aren’t immune to incredible financing and incentives that are currently available.  A few short months ago, Ford released the 2009 Flex, a crossover that offers a more practical solution to shoppers who want a fuel-efficient SUV that drives like a car, but who don’t want to sacrifice style and individuality.

The Flex features a solid 262-horsepower 3.5-liter V6. The best part of all is that the Flex boasts some rather impressive numbers for fuel economy. The front-wheel drive Flex achieves 17/24 mpg while the all-wheel drive models are slightly lower at 16/22 mpg. Even with all of these great features, the Flex’s real value lies in the sense of individuality that comes with owning one of these truly unique and multi-purpose vehicles. Just knowing that you took a stand against mediocrity and refused to conform to an otherwise dull and unfulfilling driving experience can make your daily commute infinitely more enjoyable.

And to make that much more enjoyable, Ford is offering 0.9% APR for up to 36 months on the 2009 Flex.  Or, if you don’t need the financing, they are offering $2500 Customer Cash back on cash purchases.  But if you’re in the market for Ford Flex, you don’t have much time.  This deal expires November 3rd, 2008.
