Scion has come a very long way since its debut five years ago. In that short time, they have galvanized the market by emphasizing pride of ownership in its ad campaigns, sponsored events, sales of Scion-branded merchandise and accessories. Buying a Scion may be the trendy and hip thing to do right now, but it also happens to be one of the most practical and economical.

For 2008, Nissan has released a coupe version of the highly popular Altima sedan.  The svelte coupe can be had with one of two engine options: a 2.5L 4-cylinder which produces a respectable 175 horsepower and Nissan’s venerable VQ35DE 3.5L V6 which belts out 270 horsepower.  Both versions can also be found in the sedan.  Fuel economy figures for the 2.5L-powered Altimas stand at 23/31 mpg cty/hwy and 19/26 cty/hwy mpg for the beefier 3.5L-powered versions.
