Big Customer Cash Back on 2009 Chevy Tahoe Hybrid

Tuesday, March 17th, 2009

2009 Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid

When it comes to hybrids, one notable attribute that foreign manufacturers have neglected to address is cargo capacity. Chevy answers the call with the 8-passenger 2009 Tahoe Hybrid. The largest hybrid currently offered also sports a whopping 332 horsepower, which is enough to get our adrenaline pumping, and the fuel…not pumping as much. Chevy claims a 50% mpg gain over the standard Tahoe model. The Tahoe Hybrid utilizes a Vortec 6.0 liter V8 engine to reach a very consistent 20 mpg city and 20 mpg highway fuel economy, which is pretty good for 5600-pound SUV.

Its Two-mode Hybrid Propulsion System essentially sums up to two words: “Always working.” The Active Fuel Management hybrid system works in the city by acting as a standard hybrid, disengaging the engine at stops and regenerating energy during braking. The system taps energy from one or both of the high-torque electric motors at highway speeds to produce power for acceleration. Electric motors in general produce peak torque at zero RPM, which helps to get the Tahoe rolling more efficiently from a stop.

Unlike many hybrids, the Tahoe Hybrid doesn’t skimp out on the creature comforts usually found on luxury-laden sports sedans. The roomy cabin is fitted with heated, six-way power operated front bucket seats lathered in leather. A benchmark Bose audio system is coupled with an available Touch-screen Navigation system. To boost confidence in tight confines, the Tahoe Hybrid’s Parking Assist helps guide the driver effortlessly.

Available in standard RWD and 4×4 drive trains, the Tahoe Hybrid is fitted with technology that works behind the scenes to assist the driver. Stabilitrak Electronic Stability Control assists in emergency maneuvers. And just in case all else fails, head-curtain side-impact airbags come standard.
All things considered, the Tahoe Hybrid seems to be the answer to our people and cargo hauling woes in this economic sinkhole.

Factory Cash Back on 2009 Chevy Malibu

Tuesday, December 9th, 2008

While it’s hard to top being named “North American Car of the Year,” the 2009 Chevy Malibu continues to impress audiences as it was also ranked highest in initial quality in its class for 2008 by J.D. Power and Associates.

Now you can let some of that magic rub off on you during GM’s Red Tag Event. With this amazing deal, all 2009 Chevy Malibu models are privy to huge factory cash back. How much? Click here.

Step into a 2009 Malibu and you’ll not only be treated to a rich cabin with ultra-premium quality materials used in everything from the seats to the dashboard and door panels, you’ll also notice a distinctly different feel from other Chevys you may have experienced in the past. In fact, you may not even believe you’re sitting in a Chevy at all. The fit and finish of everything is just that good. Pictures are worth a thousand words, so click on the images at the end of this post.

The engine that’s nestled between the Malibu’s fenders raises both an eyebrow and heartbeat. With a standard 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine producing 169 horsepower and an optional 3.6-liter V6 making 252 horsepower, the Malibu’s engine options leave little to be desired. Great fuel economy is another attribute which the Malibu can check off of its list of value-added features. With the 4-cylinder model getting 22/33 mpg (city/highway) and the V6 achieving 17/26 mpg (city/highway), the Malibu is playing in the same yard as the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord. Seeing all of these improvements firsthand, it becomes clear that the new Malibu is truly worthy of all its fancy titles.

GM Employee Pricing discount offered on most 2008 models

Friday, August 22nd, 2008

General Motors Logo
That didn’t take too long, did it?  General Motors, in an effort to generate additional sales, is offering employee pricing for a limited time on all 2008 GM vehicles and even some 2009 models.  What does this mean for you?  Now is your best time to purchase a GM vehicle, because it’s probably going to net you the lowest price.   The special pricing suprisingly includes the quick and nimble Chevy Cobalt, the Pontiac G5, and the ultra-svelte 304 horsepower Cadillac CTS.  Gasoline is still cheaper in the United States than in Europe, so it’s ok to splurge on that car you’ve been eyeing for the past year–now is the best time.  But you better figure out which one you want, because the deal runs out September 2nd, 2008.  That gives you less than 11 days to decide.

We scoured the web but could not find a list of the GM vehicles which qualify, so we thought it would be good to include a sampling for you to see exactly which vehicles qualify for the GM Employee Pricing Offer.

Simply click on the vehicle you’re interested in, and you’ll land on a pricing page.  Click on the model you’re interested, then type in your 5-digit zip code and you’ll get to see the lowest price in your area.  Easy as pie.
