L.A. Auto Show Highlights: 2012 Toyota Prius V

The 2012 Prius V marks the first addition to the rapidly expanding Prius lineup. The hybrid MPV solves two of the standard 3rd-generation Prius’s chief shortcomings: interior and cargo space. With fuel economy of 44 city/40 highway mpg, the tall wagon returns far and away the best efficiency of any vehicle with this kind of usable space inside.
The Prius V is just one more reason why Toyota’s Hybrid Synergy Drive system is the best in the industry. While other automakers are rapidly expanding their hybrid lineups, Toyota has managed to stay one step ahead.
