2011 Cadillac Black Diamond CTS-V: Pricing, Features and Release DateFebruary 25th, 2011 by Armaan Almeida
Perhaps following the lead of Porsche who introduced two special black models of the 911 and Boxster S, Cadillac has introduced its 2011 CTS-V Black Diamond Edition. The car features a special effects paint that includes silver highlights. Cadillac describes it as “special dark tri-coat paint embedded with SpectraFlair Bright Silver pigment.” It’s shiny.
The Special Edition also includes satin graphite 19-inch wheels with yellow Brembo brake calipers, Recaro Seats with 14-adjustable positions, French-stitched leather and microfiber suede inserts, and Midnight Sapele wood trim. It is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 engine that generates 556 horsepower. Great handling is assured by Magnetic Ride Control Suspension that “reads” and “reacts” to the road 1,000 times a second.
The Black Diamond Edition is available in three models — a sedan, coupe and wagon. Prices run from $69,190 for the manual to $70,490 for the automatic. The 2011 Cadillac CTS-V Black Diamond is expected in Cadillac dealer showrooms in March.
